Our Organisation At Work<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Boys\u2019 Brigade is dedicated to making a positive contribution to the lives of young people and ensuring that they grow up into valued member of society. The programmes we offer for the various stages (i.e. Anchors, Juniors, Company & Senior Sections) are tailor made to ensure the learning they obtain covers areas such as learning new and developing existing skills, making friends, and pushing personal boundaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young people take an invaluable set of experiences and strong personal ethics with them when they leave, that they can put to good use at university or in the career of their choosing. Our goal is their personal development and that they step out as confident and spirited young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the guidance of our fully qualified volunteer staff we\u2019ll offer your son many activities to take part in and every opportunity to build their strengths and improve confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is our sincere hope that your children remain with us during the years to come however there is no obligation to do so. Our volunteer staff are always at hand to assist parents with any queries that you may have<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subscriptions<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We set subscriptions each year these are charged at three times a year (termly) which covers September to Christmas, Christmas to Easter and Easter to Summer these costs cover our insurance, costs to the battalion, activities and all equipment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The termly cost is \u00a326 per term we do offer trial sessions to new members before we charge any subscriptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the start of each academic year we ask parents to fill in a annual information form to update our records. We also have joining forms for any new members who join at any stage. Both forms can be downloaded below to print and fill in before you attend<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supervision<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We take pride in providing a safe and inspiring environment that allows for proper character development of our members. All our Leaders undergo constant training on safety guidelines and are fully qualified to fulfill their respective roles for the benefit of your children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training programmes for our Leaders are NOT one-off. We ensure that continuous training is offered to ensure that they all continue to enhance their skills and understanding of our members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of our leaders go through a procedure of registration and as part of this will complete a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)<\/strong>.  All of our Officers have to also complete leaders training which includes safe guarding training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Can Join?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Boys\u2019 Brigade is open to boy\u2019s aged from 5 to 18 of any faith and background. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
