<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nChurch Website<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Email Us <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Call or text :- 07745299289<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have a dedicated group of leaders who help run our company all have many years of experience within this group and as part of the wider Battalion<\/p>\n\n\n\n Company Captain :- Charlie <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Charlie joined the BB in 1958 as a member of the 79th London then moved to Sussex in 1976 and got involved in our company soon after, his son went through the ranks of the company and Charlie became company captain in the 1990’s<\/p>\n\n\n\n Company Administrator &<\/strong> Leader in Charge Company & Senior Sections :- Gary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gary is the administrator for our company he also runs our two older age groups he also has additional qualifications in first aid and food hygiene, Gary has been in the Boys Brigade since he was three years old and has served as a leader in this group since he was 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gary has also served as Battalion President for 6 years and Battalion Camp Commanding Officer for 6 years and was a Vice President for 9 years so has years of experience in running effective youth work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Email Gary<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Leader in Charge Juniors :- Tom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tom joined BB when he was five and worked his way up the ranks and obtaining the highest achievements in the BB and Battalion by earning his Queens badge award and also winning the Ernest Beal V.C. award. Tom became a leader in 2012 and now runs our Juniors. Tom is currently on paternity leave since the birth of his second daughter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Leader in Charge Anchors :- Callum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Callum joined BB when he was four and a half and worked his way up the ranks and obtaining the highest achievements in the BB and Battalion by earning his Queens badge award and also winning the Ernest Beal V.C. award. Callum became a leader in 2013 and now runs our Anchors <\/p>\n\n\n\n Chaplin :- Bernie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bernie joined the BB in 1952, when he moved down to Sussex he got involved at the company in Lindfield before moving to the 3rd Burgess Hill and after a time of being a leader Bernie became leader in charge of the Company section. When Bernie stepped down from this role he became our Company Chaplin. Bernie is also part of the Church’s leadership team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Minister :- David<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n David comes from Essex, where he was a lay preacher and leader in his local church. In September 2023 David was ordained and inducted as a minister in the United Reformed Church. David is the minister at All Saints Burgess Hill as well as minister for Hassocks and Haywards Heath United Reformed churches. He will share the leadership of the three churches with elected local leaders (known as elders) and other church members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Email <\/strong><\/a>David<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Registered Leader :- Ben<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ben is a leader within the company and has been involved in the Boys’s Brigade for over 10 years and within those years Ben has been a leader since 2021. Ben has recently graduated from university studying Sports Management and leads sports activities at our annual camp and Battalion events <\/p>\n\n\n\n Registered Leader :- Jack<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A Boys’ Brigade veteran himself, Jack joined our company in 2006 and progressed through all the sections. Now he’s passionate about giving back, helping young people develop just like he did. You might even see him whipping up delicious meals at the annual battalion camp in Glynde!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Registered Helper & Treasurer :- Jo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jo has been a part of our team for 30 years she started helping when both her sons where boys in the company and has stayed on since they left the group at the age of 18. Jo is our company treasurer and does an amazing job doing so, using her skills from working in the finance department of the NHS <\/p>\n\n\n\n Registered Helper :- Jon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jon has been part of the team since 2026, his son have both been in BB within our group with one of them being part of our main leadership team.
